DESCRIPTION

b. Power mode indicator

Green = external power applied

Amber = battery power applied

c. Battery mode indicator

Solid green = battery in use

Blinking green = battery low (approximately 20 minutes remain)

Solid Amber = battery fully charged

Blinking Amber = battery charging

Solid red = battery failure

d. Status indicator

Solid Green = unit in normal mode

Solid Amber = unit in config mode

Solid Red = unit error

e. COM1 activity indicator

Green: Network connection (socket) established on this serial port

Blinking Green: In PPP or SLIP Mode, remote end has not yet established the connection; In "Connect To" Mode, not connected yet.

Blinking Amber = serial port 1 is receiving

Red: Serial port receive error (parity, overrun, etc)

Blinking Red: Serial port receive buffer full (due to the network connection not accepting the incoming data fast enough)

Amber: Serial port activity (RX or TX)

  Off: Not in PPP or SLIP mode and no network connection made

g. COM2 activity indicator

Green: Network connection (socket) established on this serial port

Blinking Green: In PPP or SLIP Mode, remote end has not yet established the connection; In "Connect To" Mode, not connected yet.

Blinking Amber = serial port 2 is receiving

Red: Serial port receive error (parity, overrun, etc)

Blinking Red: Serial port receive buffer full (due to the network connection not accepting the incoming data fast enough)

Amber: Serial port activity (RX or TX)

  Off: Not in PPP or SLIP mode and no network connection made

f. Wired Ethernet link/activity indicator

Green = Ethernet link active

Blinking green = NIC on but not connected

Blinking Amber = Ethernet receiving

Red = collision

  Off: NIC not in use

h. Radio link/activity indicator

Green: Link Ok (ie, connected)

Blinking Green: NIC on but not connected

Red: Collision

Amber: Activity (RX or TX)

Blinking Amber: NIC asleep

  Off: NIC not in use
